Women of Vision: AWARD’s Junior Researchers
Kidist Teferra Yimam, a junior scientist at the Ethiopian International Research Institute, is a woman of vision. She knows exactly where she is heading career-wise—and the steps she needs to take to get there. Yimam is one of 155 young scientists being mentored by AWARD Fellows, who are sharing the knowledge and experience they gained during the two-year program. Recently, 39 of these ingénue researchers crafted their career roadmaps at an AWARD workshop in Mombasa, Kenya.
