We are the trainers who will facilitate the AWARD Women’s Leadership and Management Course for Partner Organizations from June 2-8, 2013, at the Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort, Diani, Mombasa, Kenya. We eagerly anticipate your arrival.
We are excited that you will participate in this renowned training program that has been developed during two decades of work with emerging leaders from international organizations, including the CGIAR centers, FAO, as well as numerous national organizations of agricultural research and development. Past participants have described the learning experience as stimulating, affirming, and relevant to the professional issues and challenges they face. Many mark the course as a turning point in their professional development and career.
The first session will begin on Sunday, June 02, at 13:30pm. Please plan to arrive in Diani on Saturday, June 01. The opening session is a substantive and essential to building a learning community and setting the stage for our work together during the week. Therefore, please ensure that you arrange your travel so that you are rested and ready to engage on Sunday afternoon. The course ends on Saturday, June 08 at 14:30pm. Please plan your departure travel to ensure you are present through the end of the course. Plan to attend and be fully engaged during all sessions.
