While receiving the award certificate, Onadipe thanked the UK Collaborative on Development Sciences, who sponsored the prize.

The conference, featuring the theme Food Security, Health and Impact Knowledge Brokering, was held from June 22-24 at the University of Leeds, U.K. The conference goal was to demonstrate and share lessons on how to translate research results into impact on food security and human health in sub-Saharan Africa.
